Unfortunately I didn't find that one, but here's what was said in the listing for the debut episode on February 14, 1964:<br />"Guest stars Tammy Grimes, Broderick Crawford, and Neville Brand help kick off this Western series based on Max Brand's "Destry Rides Again". John Gavin plays Destry, a man who is taking a rather leisurely approach to clearing himself of a trumped-up robbery charge." Also appearing in this premiere eppisode, "The Solid Gold Girl" were Claude Akins and Ken Mayer.<br />Regarding the question whether or not the show was in color, neither the listing for this first episode nor the descriptions of any other episodes in TV Guides of the period state that "Destry" was shown in color.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5867855262254269482.post-60503957262074617582009-06-09T18:15:45.350-04:002009-06-09T18:15:45.350-04:00I had never heard of this series, thanks for openi...I had never heard of this series, thanks for opening my eyes.
