What an interesting blog. I happened upon it by chance (started with Bette Davis; numerous links later stumbled upon this one). Bookmarked for further reading.

Clara Bow.. now THAT's a name I haven't heard since I was a kid!!

I loved the old Charlie Chan movies! I really need to get those on DVD!

I've really been enjoying your blog! I stumbled across it by accident while Googling my great-grandfather, H. Bart McHugh, the Philadelphia vaudeville/theatrical producer and booking agent who was El's employer in 1917.

I'd love to see photos of H. Bart McHugh if you have any. I have one of my grandmother (Bart and Nellie's daughter, Kathryn) as a young girl, but none of her parents.

Thank you for any help you can give me. I echo Swank's posting and say, BOOKMARKED FOR FURTHER READING!

First off, I gotta say, what an amazing blog, so interesting and filled with so many different photos. I absolutely love this blog. I came upon it by chance!

Also, how in the world did you get these 1930's ads? How'd you find them?

Thanks for putting this up! :)

Daniela,
Thanks for stopping by. I have just been collecting these ads over time and have amassed quite a collection of them.
