Yup, word is getting out on our favorite Swede. Just look at this article in the Syracuse New Times about the upcoming
Capitolfest film show
this weekend:
Cinema Paradiso in Syracuse New Times
I even get a mention! Don't forget, CAPITOLFEST THIS WEEKEND! Tickets can still be purchased, even right at the box office on
Friday,
Saturday, or
Sunday, and even
on line. See you there and don't forget to say hello!

Great, Louie!
El Brendel also got mentioned here:

I saw that Charlie. Thanks for sharing the link.
Nice!
jejeje
Hey babe, did you get a whole bunch of extra hits on the 20th? I got about 200 extra, all hitting my El Brendel posts, but I'm not good enough at Google Analytics to figure out where they came from.
Just posting so I can subscribe to comments ;)
Nope, doesn't seem like I got any jump in hits at all. Glad you did though!
Yeah, regarding the Google Analytics, the 2nd largest slice of referrals I have had recently from searches had been "Ava Gardner Nude"!!
I get a lot of hits from people looking for photos of nude celebrities, too. Strangely, even though I occasionally post nude celebs on Technoknob, I rarely get hits over there. (I did get slammed with hits when Tura Satana passed away, though.)
As for the extra hits yesterday, I think maybe someone linked to a photo I posted from Just Imagine.
That's pretty cool.
Speaking of nude celebs, have you seen this one:

!
...is that Robert Pollard in a faux vintage photo?
Huh. Well, I see whoever that is has a lot of classic photos on their Photobucket, so it's probably not the singer Robert Pollard... but I am at a loss on that LOL
I just like Robert Pollard so that is the name I chose for my photobucket account.
The picture is El Brendel from the stage play "Spice of 1922".
DANG. I was so sure that was one of those "fake" pictures of someone that just looked like a celebrity. "Spice of 1922" seems to have had a Garden of Eden number... guess they meant that literally.
I don't think I could have been more startled by any other photo.
I actually have a few from this "naked" session!
